We provide diagnostic interpretation in general Surgical Pathology, Hematopathology, Obstetrics and Gynecology (including placenta, endometrial dating and fertility), Gastrointestinal  Pathology, Dermatopathology, Urogenital Pathology, as well as specialized tumor pathology and second opinions. Pathologists perform autopsies when requested by physicians as well as occasional private autopsies when requested by family members and insurance companies. Autopsies help determine the manner and cause of death and identify any pathology that has contributed to it (please see separate section for details, request form and additional info).

We use state-of-the-art microscopy coupled with telepathology, immunohistochemistry, in-situ hybridization and molecular pathology to complement and verify morphologic assessment. CPS Pathologists have access to nationally-recognized experts for second opinions and consults. Our Pathologists will discuss and review your case by phone or secure e-mail to provide you with the fastest turn-around time and reduce distress to patients and family members anxious for an answer. CPS Pathologists will  always contact you immediately to report unusual and/or unexpected results.
